Swingin in the Swamp
Hammond, Louisiana- Local golfers will soon join the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer on the fairway. The American Cancer Society’s Swinging in the Swamp Golf Championship will be held on April 21st , 2008 at the Oak Knoll Country Club.

By participating in this tournament, golfers contribute to the battle against cancer. Proceeds from this event benefit the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer through research, education, advocacy and service.

Tee time for the Swinging in the Swamp tournament is 8:00am. The fee for the tournament is $500 per four-person team and covers greens fees.

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
